About Us

Natives of Upstate New York, we moved to East Texas in October of 2005 to fulfill our dream of having our own place for our horses. 

New Horizons Ranch is a family owned and operated facility in which we specialize in breeding Friesian Sport Horses for the dressage arena and cross country course. We limit our in-house breeding to a maximum of four top-quality foals per breeding season. This enables us to devote the time, attention, and care to each youngster on a daily basis to cultivate positive personalities, trust in humans, and the eventual work ethic when they come of age to begin their careers. We take pride in producing foals gentle enough for a child to handle but talented enough to take you as far as you want to go in your equestrian sport of choice.

We stand our magnificent Friesian Stallion, Darktanion, to approved mares of all breeds. We also produce foals from our own select mares of different breeds, Thoroughbred, Warmblood, Andalusian, and Friesian.

Our goal is to breed brave, gentle, willing, athletic, intelligent, and kind life-long equine partners. We welcome visitors by appointment and look forward to helping you find or breed your next equine partner.
