Darktanion (Jildert299 x star Fedde mare) comes from superb Friesian pedigree, very old and sadly no longer found. Darktanion is the old classic baroque style Friesian, stout and heavy like the war horse was meant to be.

His absolutely UN-Stallion like temperament makes him safe and easy to handle. He is enjoyed by all members of the family due to his sweet, quiet, careful nature. Darktanion is also the favorite baby sitter for both the "little and big" kids that want to play Medieval Knights and those dressage students that take their lessons on him.
Darktanion as a lesson horse...
Darktanion as a joust horse...

Darktanion has a regal elegance about him that hushes the crowd and leaves his audience speechless - but his willing nature, love for people and great desire to please, are incredibly inviting and His ability to pass all these traits to his offspring makes him a "stand alone" great sire.
His offspring are of consistent high quality as can be seen below.
Some Of Darktanion's Kids

Darktanion x Arabian colt, and filly both Scottsdale Champions bred by More Than A Dream Arabians

Breanna (Darktanion x Saddlebred) won the bronze for being the third highest scoring Mature Mare in the NATION at the American Warmblood Society inspections in 2011!
And of course, our own Tanion's Love (Darktanion x Thoroughbred)

Darktanion is
very baroque, heavy, and mighty - a real knight's steed. However, His athletic
abilities make him suited for any style of riding and He is currently in Dressage
and Joust training. But once
the days work is done, it's him nuzzling and blowing his sweet breath on the
back of my neck that truly makes every day a joy to own this magical stallion...
